In honor of AVSAR team members that have contributed to the organization in immeasurable ways over their tenure, going well above and beyond, the AVSAR Board of Directors (after the initial idea came from member John T) has developed an annually-presented intra-team award aptly named the AVSAR Award of Excellence. For 2025 this award was bestowed upon to one of our founding members: Paul Cormier.
Paul is not only a dedicated and ever-present team member, he has previously contributed his time as a Board Officer and as the former lead of the AVSAR Training Committee giving of his time and expertise to old and new members alike. This important work helped prepare these members for the work we do. Thanks to Paul our team is sharper and more able than ever. The Board was delighted to offer this award and collectively we all thank Paul for his exemplary service to the organization and we congratulate him.
